Australia Discontinues Publication of Chemical Gazette

The Australia Chemical Gazette, which was published online on the first Tuesday of every month, was discontinued for publication on June 30, 2020.

According to the repealed Industrial Chemicals (Notification and Assessment) Act 1989, notices of inventory updates, issued assessments and permits, as well as Director decisions must be published in the Chemical Gazette. However, under the new Industrial Chemicals Act 2019, the notices are no longer required to be published in the Gazette, and they will be released on the Australian Industrial Chemicals Introduction Scheme (AICIS) website instead.
