Recently, Australia NICNAS launched new business services for introducers of industrial chemicals to submit requests online. Businesses, including overseas companies, can now go to the NICNAS website to sign up for a free Business Services account. Once the account is approved, the user can submit applications for two types of services:
- Business registrations; and
- Chemical inventory services, including confidential inventory searches, chemical inventory early listings and chemical inventory confidential listings
This online system replaces the email or mail submissions accepted by NICNAS in the past. NICNAS will review requests and inform users once the applications have been completed. Users can then log into the account and view the results. All results will be kept in the service history in the account for future reference.
