ECHA Enforcement Forum’s report identifies a lack of compliance with REACH and CLP regulations

Posted on: September 5, 2013

A project carried out by the ECHA Enforcement Forum has identified a lack of compliance with REACH and CLP regulations among the 1181 companies inspected.

67% of the downstream users inspected between May 2011 and March 2012 failed to comply with pre-registration and notification obligations, as well as a number of other requirements set out in the REACH and CLP regulations, essential to ensure compliance.

The report’s findings have highlighted the need for revisions to the registration and notification processes to make compliance less complex for downstream users.
