Suppliers (manufacturers/importers/exporters) that place cosmetic products on the EU market are required to comply with a range of EU legislation. John Stewart, Ph.D. worked at Safeware Quasar for over 4 years as a Chemical Regulatory Consultant, specialising in SDS authoring and hazard label assessments, as well as providing regulatory support and advice to a number of wide ranging companies. In addition, he has been a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Advisor since 2014, helping companies to comply with dangerous goods legislation. Previously, John worked as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at the University of Nottingham in the Department of Chemistry. His research focused on exploring new areas of organouranium chemistry. Prior to this, he obtained his Ph.D. in synthetic inorganic chemistry at Newcastle University, as well as a Masters in Chemistry.


John holds a MChem in Chemistry from Newcastle University and a Ph.D. in Inorganic Chemistry from Newcastle University.
