Full Course Overview

This practical and highly interactive one day training course has been designed to provide delegates with a comprehensive understanding of the legal requirements that must be considered when creating REACH Annex II compliant safety data sheets (SDSs).

Background Of Safety Data Sheets

The chemical industry relies on safety data sheets (SDSs) to communicate legally required hazard information to ensure the safe use of products. Companies placing chemical products on the market must supply their customers with compliant SDSs, which can be a complicated and arduous task requiring knowledge in a variety of technical areas.

It is clear that despite the UK SDS requirements and associated regulations being around for over 25 years, there are still huge areas for improvement in these important documents, and the revised Annex II of REACH continues to focus the attention of ECHA and the enforcement authorities on ensuring that companies are providing compliant SDSs.
